The House league Program

KDLA lacrosse house league box lacrosse program is available for both
boys and girls, from Paperweight, age 3, through to Midget, age 16. This
exciting style of Lacrosse is well known for its speed and team strategies. This
sport offers players a chance to develop these skills and get fit while having
fun. House league competition begins in mid April and runs until the end of
June. Games are held one or two nights a week.
House league Objectives
- To provide adequate floor time in lacrosse for the boys and girls of the
community.
- To provide the best coaching available and thereby teach the boys and
girls the basic skills and fundamentals of lacrosse.
- To provide equal floor time for all house league players.
- To help the boys and girls enjoy the game of lacrosse.
- To help our boys and girls develop positive attitudes of sportsmanship and
respect for authority and rules.
- To foster among its members, supporters and teams, a general community
spirit.
Expectations of the House Player
- Honest effort and a commitment in participation, games, and practices.
- Regular attendance at games and practices.
- Prior notice must be given to coaches for absences.
- Sportsmanlike conduct at all team functions.
- "Zero tolerance" policy for serious misdemeanors, supported by Executive.
- Try to be a true team player.
- To accept decisions of coaches and officials and show them respect.
